aluminium / facade systems / mbsr-50 skylight window

A skylight window is a part of the MB-SR50 system. These types of windows are intended for roof mounting at an angle from 10° to 40° in relation to the level, and may be used as ventilation hatches. The support aluminum profiles used in the skylight windows are composed of 3-chamber sections, insulated with polyamide strips which ensure proper endurance, thermal insulation and rigidity. The windows fulfill the technical requirements for 2.1 ( DIN 4108. classification ) technical group. The aluminum profiles are shaped in a way ensuring the most compact construction possible of the window cross-section so that the window does not protrude beyond the roof surface. The skylight window is equipped with an effective drainage-ventilation system connected with the MB-SR50 mullion - transom wall system. The cover bead from the outside creates the eaves for rainwater, and from the inside it is maximally close to the glass panel to facilitate the water run-off. In order to ensure high tightness against rainfall, the newest generation of EPDM cell gasket is used. The hinges are hidden inside the profiles, thanks to which they are not exposed to the influence of atmospheric conditions, which significantly extends their durability. This window is constructed to go with a wide range of closing/locking systems used on the market. These are both mandrel and chain mechanisms. The maximum width allowed for this window is 1.50 m, and the maximum height is 2.00 m. The maximum glass surface area cannot exceed 2.10 square meters. It is possible to use window sets from 10 to 32 mm thick. The window weight is restricted by technical parameters of the opening devices used and cannot exceed 100 kg.
