Together with working out a new structural MB – SG50 wall for the offer of storefront solutions of Metalplast-Bielsko S.A., there has been introduced a new design of a tilt window for the use in a transom/mullion wall, also based on MB-SG50. A tilt window MB-SG50 may be used in the classic system of a transom/mullion wall of MB- SR 50 , as well as in modified systems MB-SR50 PL and MB-SR50 EFEKT. The most important advantage of this solution are unusually economical shapes, which add lightness to all the design, which has particular significance in the view from the outside. Thanks to the use of the most modern technology of structural gluing – which is gluing outer glass to an aluminum frame with structural silicon – we avoided the need to use any aluminum elements from the outside or any mechanical joints for fitting the glass. It causes that the line of 16mm on the elevation from the outer side is sustained, and makes that tilt windows do not differ from the neighboring permanent windows.

To obtain the best possible qualities of thermal and acoustic insulation there have been used the newest technical solutions in thermal interlayers and window gaskets. There has been also designed a very effective ventilation and drainage system, which guarantees long- term and non- faulty window operating.

A deflected window of MB-SG50 is approved by Technical Approval ITB no AT-15-3393/2003 from March 2003r. Detailed information on the above structure is available in a printed form: in an abridged version- as a supplement to
